# entrepta CLI

> Published as `@entrepta/cli` (https://www.npmjs.com/package/@entrepta/cli), bin `entrepta`. Run it with npx; there is nothing to install. It copies source into the project: no runtime, no SDK.

## init

```bash
npx @entrepta/cli@latest init
```

Bootstraps a project. Writes the global CSS, lib/utils.ts and entrepta.json. Prompts for a theme, and for one fixed theme or all six.

- `--theme=<preset>`: Skip the prompts. Writes one fixed theme
- `--themes=all`: Write every theme, switchable with data-theme
- `--overwrite`: Overwrite existing files without asking

## add

```bash
npx @entrepta/cli@latest add <component>
```

Copies one or more components into your project, with every file they import, and installs their npm packages.

- `--overwrite`: Replace files that already exist

## add (interactive)

```bash
npx @entrepta/cli@latest add
```

Same as above, no args. Opens a picker with every component.

## entrepta.json

Read from the project root. It records the theme, whether one theme or all seven are installed, the CSS file, the aliases, and `srcDir` when `@/` points at a folder such as `src` in Vite.
